Yesterday started out as a very good day. I had a lot of energy and was feeling good enough that I felt like going to the auto show with Brian. I also had a phone call from my friend , Mary and we set up a time to meet in town for breakfast. We chose a restaurant right down the block from the dry cleaners as we had to pick up Brian's suit before we could leave for the auto show.
We had a good visit with Mary and the day couldn't have been much better. We went home after picking up the suit and decided that one more chore needed to be tended to before heading out. It was our garbage run day. Brian loaded up the garbage bags and headed for the dump. It was taking him longer than normal so I decided to lay down until he got home. When he came home he informed me that he needed to make a phone call. While he was at the dump a guy backed into the front of his car and messed it up. The bumper is broke, the grill is gone, the headlights and the support structure for them are broken and the hood is buckled, although Brian did manage to get it to latch completely. So he called in the claim to the other guys insurance company and we headed to the auto show in my car.
The auto show was nice but I wasn't to impressed with most of the new cars. I did like the Ford F150 though and it didn't cost any more to look at that one than it did any of the others.
All things considered I think it was still a pretty good day. Brian didn't get hurt, we were able to spend time together and I got to visit with Mary too.
