Christmas 2011

Despite this lousy cold this has been an awesome Christmas!
Our son, Steve and his wife, Diane came home for a brief Christmas celebration. We had the best time and I count myself amongst the luckiest people alive. I was suppose to work last Friday but this cold got me sent home. I was able to enjoy being with Steve and Diane and Brian. Then I was scheduled to be off yesterday so I made a Christmas dinner and we enjoyed the entire day. My youngest sister, Beatrice joined us as she had no where to go. Last night Diane wanted to go to a candle light church services as she had never been to one. I took her to the 11 PM service at First Lutheran Church in Litchfield. It was different for sure! Then we got up and went to our church service this morning at 9:30. I had to leave early because I was scheduled to work from 11- 6PM today. I'm glad it worked out that way because it is always hard for me to let go of my family.

I'm praying for safe travels for them as they are headed home!

Thank you for coming to visit Steve and Diane!
