A Time to Laugh

Last night my sister Beatrice and I went down to Runnings to pick up feed and suppies for the chickens and geese. As I can not lift heavy things right now Beatrice said that she would do so. She picked up two bags of CHicken feed and put them in the cart and we headed to the check out. We paid for the supplies and the guy asked if we would need help loading the bags into our vehicle. Since Beatrice had just successfully lifted the bags and placed them in the cart she was confident that she could take them out and put them in the trunk. So there was this guy standing behind us in the line and had overheard the conversation with the clerk. We went outside and I opened the trunk for Beatrice. She grabbed for one of the bags and the cart tipped over on her. She didn't get hurt but she started to laugh uncontrollably at how funny it all must look. In the meantime I grabbed the back of the cart and used my feet and legs to lift it up off of her. The guy that was behind us in the line saw waht had transpired and was quick to come to our rescue. Both of us were laughing so hard that we could not do a thing about it. He grabbed the bags and put them in the trunk, smiled at us and said we were on our own when we got home. As luck would have it we ran across him again at the gas station as Beatrice ran for the cover of the bathroom to keep from having an even more embarrassing moment.
We are still laughing about it today!

  1. What a good laugh! I'm sure I've never laughed as hard as when I'm with my sister and mother. You've got to love them!
