My new ride!

I told Dad that we were going car shopping this morning. We simply have to have a more reliable
car to get a from one place to the next. Monday he has an interview in Alexandria and the ones we have are no longer fit to be on the road. With our credit currently in the hurting position I was uncertain that we would be able to find a car but the dity " Car Hop, cars and credit to go". kept playing over and over in my brain so I got online and applied. In a half hour I got a call saying that we would be good canidates for their program. An appointment was set for 11:15 this morning up in St. Cloud so Dad and I headed up there. We filled out all their paper work and waited to see if the finance company would approve us. To make a long story short- I bought a 1999 Mercury Sable. It has 132,581 miles on it. It drives straight, brakes evenly, and doesn't clatter or clunk when driving. It doesn't seem to be an oil guzzler either. I know that when you buy a used car you are inheriting some one elses head aches so we will see , I'm sure what they will be soon enough. I also knew that with our credit that the intrest rate would be high so it was no surprise to find out that it is. I am going to make payments on it twice a month for two years. I plan on paying it off sooner than that though but we will see how that all plays out too.

For now, Dad and I have transportation again. When and if Dad gets a job we will have to see about getting him another vehicle too but for now this one will have to do.

It's late so I need to get to bed. Another work day for me tomorrow!
Have a wonderful Sunday!

  1. I'm glad you have a reliable car - that's a necessary item now, isn't it!
