Pictures capture moments in time that can never be reclaimed that is why over time they become priceless.
This morning I picked the green beans and made some Creamed Breen Beans to share with Eleanor, Aryls, a lady friend of theirs from Utah; I'm going to get her name down yet, and Cecilia at lunch time. I was impressed that when I creamed those beans they were just like the green bean casserole minus the mushrooms. I like them better with the mushroom soup.
Anyway, while I was there Aryls brought out a photo album of pictures, newspaper clippings and other fun memorabilia that Eleanor had both collected and recieved from my mother over the years. In the album were pictures that I had never seen before. Pictures of me when I was a little kid and pictures of me and my younger brothers when we three were a complete hand full!
You could tell who the ring leader was in the group! I miss those days when the three of us were best friends. I am going to make copies of them and send to my brothers. I will also try to figure out how to get them uploaded to this computer so that I can share them with all of you.
Pictures are wonderful!
Technology is great!
Memories are sweet reminders of where we have been and where we have come from!
