Nice Weather= Spring Fever

When the weather gets to 50 degrees and the birds return and the frogs start chirping it is time to start preparing the garden, which is what I did today! Since I was not able to care for the garden last summer it became over grown with grass. That grass matted down this past winter and formed an air tight layer on the ground. It was nice because that layer acted like a blanket on the ground an so it didn't freeze real hard. Today I lifted the grass enough so I could get it to burn and burn it did. Next step is to break out the tiller!
