Balance

Keeping everything in balance can be a challenge at times when you are constantly walking on a high wire. It's no circus act but it is every bit as much a challenge.
Dad/ Brian just got his car out of the repair shop because it had a cracked thermostat housing and needed a new radiator hose. We were glad to get it back because we were chewing through the gas money in the loaner vehicle. On Sunday Cecilia asked if she could come out and so Brian went to pick her up. She noticed that the car was losing coolant and so back down to the shop it went. This time it is the radiator that has gone out. So we are back to the loaner vehicle until we can afford to get a different radiator. Hold on to the wallet, gas prices have jumped to 2.699 per gallon.
On the flip side of the wire Brian received word from his supervisor that he is being groomed for the lead draftmen position when Al retires in two years. It's a ways off but it helps to know that he has a future out there, which in today's economy and under our present circumstances is a good thing.

  1. What wonderful news about Dad! That makes me happy! Good luck with the car, though.
