Dental Cleaning to the Extreame!

I have spent two days at the dental office this past week and still have not seen the dentist except for a couple of minutes. I have been in the hands of the dental hygienist and have had every kind of picture taken with their fancy cameras that you can imagine. Then today I went back in and spent two hours in the chair as she used her lazer knife to cut away tissues that even looked remotely swollen. Then she used an ultrasound pen to go in and break up any deposits that were below the gum lines. Fancy equipment that I have never seen but a cleaning like I have never had before. She said that the gums will heal within two days. I set Dad up for an appointment next- I hope he can handle it because his mouth is in bad shape and she's going to change that! Good Luck to him!
