I am on the mend and feeling pretty good today. I won't be doing any heavy lifting for a while and I won't be going back to work very soon either. The doctors have placed me on restrictions after all the surgeries and tests. I have established a new blog site to update every one on my health situation. I don't want to talk about the down side of things here but want to keep it up beat. I want to find the humor in life here. I want to find the joy and the good times.
An example is a conversation that I had with my youngest son the other day:This is kind of how it went- I don't remember it Verbatim.
Andy: Hello mom! How are you doing?
Mom: I'm sore but I'm recovering .
I can definitely tell that it was a male who did my surgery as he took no thought about where he positioned that port. It is right under where my bra needs to go and it will get irritated if I wear a bra. I guess I'm just going to be a sagging, baggy, woman for a while.
Andy: Oh Dad should love that!
Mom: Yeah, I guess it gives a whole new meaning to the term "Support System"
We both had a good laugh!
