My Dad was asking my sisters about me yesterday. Where is she? Why hasn't she been in to see me? They came up with some excuses which were true but not the whole truth. I decided that it was time to share my bad news with him so he wouldn't think that I had given up on him.
I talked with him first about how things were going for him and when the time was just right I shared how things were going for me. He took the news very well and understands that I might not be able to be there as often for him. I reassured him that my sisters would watch over him in my absence.
