Yesterday I took my aunt up to St. Cloud for a check-up. We were told that they now have a new device to monitor the situation for her so they asked if I would like to come in so that I could get trained about the device as well.
I am glad that I went in with my aunt to see the latest developments.
Everything has been simplified and yet it is so much better than the device she currently has to monitor her situation. The device that she has comes with a tiny microchip that stores an unbelievable amount of data which is collected over a three month time frame. The nurses and doctors can place a magnetic device over the implanted device and it reads it so that they know exactly what has been going on and when it all started happening, it gives date, time, types of evens and how long they last. It tells the average number of hours she spends in activit too! She won't have to o back for another year, unleess she has poblemcd,

It's true - I feel the same way about the Doctor's office where we go for Nathan's checkups - he is in such good hands! They have so many tools to figure out what to do and do it!
