It's been a busy day today! Got up at 4 AM as I was too hot and hopped into a cool shower-MMMMM- it felt wonderful and refreshing.
I made Sloppy Joes for Brain's lunch and sent some bread, baked beans, and Gerkins with to round out his meal.

I decided to catch a ride from him into Litchfield as I needed to meet Eleanor at the clinic at 10 AM for her check-up. She is doing pretty good. I rode bike from Cecilia's house over to the clinic and got caught in the rain on my way back. I don't think that I have ever peddaled that fast. I was dripping wet by the time I got back but was not sure if it was from the rain or sweating. It was definitelty a good workout!

Eleanor and Willie picked me up from Ce's to take me home. I asked if they would follow me down to Chris' car shop as I wanted them to see if they could figure out what the problem is. Naturally it didn't act up for their mechanic. I described what it was doing and he disconnected the EGR valve to see if thet was the problem or if something in that system is going faulty. I was told by another garage that it was the fuel pump that was going bad but it tested out fine today. The car worked okay coming home so who knows what the problem really is but I suspect that it is something in the emmissions control system. I'll run it a while to see if it acts up again.
While I waited for the car to get diagnosed/ fixed I went out to Willie's (Eleanor's Friend) to help him load hay to take to the auction tonight.
We loaded two pick-up loads and hauled them to the auction barn.
After that I headed over to pick up the car and so now I am home but very tired. I had planned on mowing the lawn today but I guess that will wait until tomorrow. It is suppose to be nice- not so hot and stormy.
I hope all is well for everyone!
Steve and Diane- how was your anniversary? Congratulations!
