It's Tuesday morning and I was up before daylight to get Brian's lunch prepared and packed.
The past two or three days have been cloudy and cool and have given us a fair amount of much needed rain. My garden was looking pretty dismal in spite of the daily watering that I was giving it. Between the heat, soil conditions, and lack of moisture I thought for sure that I would lose everything I planted. I added some compost to it on Saturday and I now have much greater hope that it might survive.
Daylight has come and it seems like we are still under cloud cover. The sun is trying to break through and I believe that it will make it. I look forward to more sunshine and warmer weather.
It is 8 AM and I suspect that my sisters have been trying to get in touch with me. When I am on the internet my phone lines are tied up so unless they call me on my cell phone they cannot get in touch with me.
I must continue on with my daily rituals.
