Time Flies...

Time always seems to fly by when you have a lot to get accomplished!
I thought I had put a post on here about the cannery trip but maybe I didn't.
It went well and we all had a good time. No one got lost in all the road construction so that was a plus. It seems we all took different routes to get there but we all came in fairly close together.
Saturday was a blurr after I got home. I can't even remember what I did that evening.
Sunday of course we went to church and after a brief nap and doing chores we went into Litchfield to do Home Teaching. Jake is suppose to be Dad's companion but because it was a spurr of the moment type arrangement he chose to take me instead. It all worked out okay.
There was a stake priesthood meeting Sunday night and the guys carpooled from the Steiners. I delivered some of the canned goods and visited my Dad while your dad was at the meeting in St. Cloud.
When he got back I picked him up and we went home. It was a very enjoyable day!

Today I thought I would stay home all day and get the lawn mowed and some baking done but Eleanor called me at 8 AM and asked if I would come and get her as Center Point Energy was going to be at her house by 9AM. I told her that my car would not make it down to Hutch and back again so I told her that I would go into town to let the Center Point Employee into her house. That gave me an hour to make a speed run on my bike into town. Time flew by though and the next time I looked at the clock it was already 8:30 so I said a prayer, filled the radiator in the Lincoln with water, loaded up my bike in the trunk and headed for town. The prayer worked! I got to town without problems and was able to accomplish many tasks with the time I had to wait for the CPE to show up. I also took the time to call around and find the best prices for a new radiator. Hopefully I can pick one up tomorrow and put it into the car. That would be a blessing . The real blessing came tonight though. Eleanor told me that she was giving me the money for a new radiator and wrote me out a check for $200. a NEW ONE WILL COST ME 160.00 oKAY I'm hitting thye wrong keys so it must be bedtime. It's been a long one.
Love to all
